ClassBeep is free and has no accounts. This page says what it keeps, where, and what we see.
Your class lists stay on this device
Student names, class lists, scores, the day plan, to-dos and your settings are saved only in this browser, in its local storage. They are never sent to us, and we have no copy.
What we measure
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies.
PostHog, on its EU servers, shows us how the tools are used: pages opened, clicks, heatmaps of where people click, errors, and recordings of sessions. To count a return visit it keeps a random id in this browser's local storage. It is not linked to a name.
Before anything leaves the browser, every piece of text on the page is masked: clicks carry no text, and recordings show text and typing as asterisks. Student names do not reach us.
Deleting what is stored
Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes everything: the lists, your settings and the analytics id. The "Clear everything saved here" button in Settings removes the lists and tool data only.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. We hold no student data; analytics is tied only to a random id.
